Privacy Policy

PrimeUtil ("we", "us", "our") is a free online utility tool website. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect (very little), how we use it, and your rights.

The short version: We do not collect personal information. All tool calculations run locally in your browser. We do not store your inputs or results anywhere.

We do not collect, store, or process:

• Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• Text or data you enter into any tool
• Passwords generated by the Password Generator
• Files uploaded to tools (e.g. Image to Base64)
• Health data (e.g. BMI inputs)
• Financial data (e.g. EMI inputs)

All tool computations happen entirely in your browser (client-side JavaScript). Your data never leaves your device.

We may use a privacy-friendly analytics service (such as Plausible Analytics) to understand how visitors use PrimeUtil. This collects:

• Page views and referrer URLs
• Approximate country (from anonymised IP — IP is never stored)
• Browser type and device type

This data is anonymous, aggregated, and contains no personally identifiable information. No cookies are used. No cross-site tracking occurs.

PrimeUtil uses one functional cookie: your theme preference(light or dark mode). This cookie:

• Is stored only on your device
• Is never shared with any third party
• Contains no personal information

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party marketing cookies.

PrimeUtil uses the following third-party services:

• open.er-api.com — Currency exchange rates. Your IP may be visible to this service when fetching live rates. See their privacy policy at exchangerate-api.com/privacy.
• Google Fonts — We use Plus Jakarta Sans via next/font which self-hosts font files; no request is made to Google servers.

PrimeUtil is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through our site, please contact us.

Because we do not collect personal data, most data rights requests (access, deletion, portability) are not applicable. However, if you have any concerns:

• EU/EEA residents: You have rights under GDPR
• California residents: You have rights under CCPA
• All users: You may contact us at any time

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of PrimeUtil after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
